We started DASH because buying a used car felt broken.

We're Daniel and Josh — two best mates from Godalming who got fed up with the way used cars were being sold. So we decided to do it differently.

How it started

 

Like a lot of people, we've both had that experience — buying a used car from a dealer and feeling like you're being played. Pressure tactics, cars that weren't quite what they seemed, and salespeople who disappeared the moment you drove away. We'd talked for years about doing something for ourselves. We both love cars — always have — and we could see a real gap. Most dealerships are either faceless big operations or backstreet traders. There wasn't much in the middle: a small, honest business run by people who actually gave a damn. "We only stock cars we'd buy ourselves. If something's not right, we won't sell it — and we'll tell you." So in 2024, we took the leap. DASH Automotive was built from nothing — two mates, a lot of hard work, and a simple belief that buying a car should feel good, not stressful.
